The beauty of the aesthetics of Wabi-sabi started in the Chosun dynasty during the 14th Century in Korea, as tea bowls (called "MacSabal") and was later introduced to Japan and developed into Wabi-sabi in the Japanese tea ceremony.

The combination of the rustic olive green and brown color gives organic/earthy texture and reflects light softly and gives a warm and calm atmosphere.
