Nesting plate set with Brush Swirl design, 4 of Green and Brown Platter set, Serving Platters, Wedding/Housewarming gift, Korean Pottery.

This is a set of 4 different sizes of nesting platters made on the potter's wheel and uniquely have two usable sides and two different functions. On the brown side are serving platters that have a dark chocolate color with an earthy texture. And the green side is a shallow plate that has a wonderful swirl brush design.

This platter is wonderful to display as a centerpiece for home decor and a great serving dish for any occasion.

The technique that I used for decorating is one of the well-known traditional Korean Guiyal Buncheng techniques. I decorated with a white slip with a big brush and make a swirl design on the surface.
Finishing the pieces by firing twice at a high temperature using glazes that I made with my own recipe.


All of my glazes are made in my studio with natural materials that are lead-free and food-safe.
